What is the BioWrap stretch wrap system?

BioWrap Ltd. produce a three layer, co-extruded polyethylene film with special qualities.
It is available in a number of formats, to suit all users.
- BioWrap 3 has a biochemical additive that will, after one year, commence rapid degradation. It will naturally biodegrade from the action of heat, light and bacteria and will assimilate into the environment.
- BioWrap 2 looks and behaves in an identical manner but has a different additive and relies on heat and light rather than bacterial action. This quality is referred to as degradable.
- BioWrap 1 is of the same quality, without degrading additives. It is suitable for use in cases where biodegradation is not desired - e.g. for pallets that must stand for longer than a year.
